Having the youngest lava flows, the Puna district imparts a complex “mineral“ body to the coffee cherries making for a very clean cup with no astringent “coffee breath” aftertaste. This “minerality” creates a distinctive and palatable acidity range. This most tropical environment and organic soil on the island infuses a citrusy and nutty flavor along with a characteristic dark chocolate presence.
 
Notes: blueberry, Citrus, chocolate, nougat and a "mineral" body characteristic of our volcanic soil with a sweet and soft aftertaste.
